Lifepoint Church is “Christ-led” with a “team approach” to ministry. Each decision made for the church is prayed through and measured by its potential to contribute positively to the vision of Lifepoint Church.
The Executive Leadership Team (ELT) is made up of a combination of elders (always including the lead pastor) and three deacons that serve on a three-year rotation. Both elders and deacons shall meet the qualifications listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:5-9. The purpose of the ELT is to protect the mission, vision and integrity of Lifepoint by overseeing all affairs of the church and making final decisions.
The Pastoral Team is made up of the elders of the church, which Lifepoint recognizes as the lead pastor and all associate pastors. Its purpose is to oversee the staff and the daily functions of Lifepoint.
The Deacon Team is made up of men from the congregation who are considered to be godly men with servants’ hearts. Its purpose is to be an extension of the pastor to help oversee ministry and tend to the needs of the congregation.
The Finance Advisory Team is made up of one person from the Executive Leadership Team, four people from the congregation and one person form outside of Lifepoint congregation. The team is appointed by the Executive Leadership Team to oversee the finances of the church and make recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team.
