VISION is “a clear picture of what could be, fueled by the conviction it must be.”
The bible says true believers are witnesses to the character and action of the real God. The real proof of this witness is seen in transformed lives because true believers are continually being transformed into the image of Christ (Rom 12:1). The real proof of this transformation is holiness (Ro 11:16; Eph 5:1; Matt 5:48, Phil 2:15). The real proof is love, for God and for others (John 13:35). The real proof is a life of worship and obedience (Ro 12:2, John 8:31). The real proof is a fruit bearing life (John 15:8; Gal 5:22-23). The real proof is witnessed as perseverance through trials and testing (Heb 10:39, 1 Pet 1:6-9). And God gives real proof of who He is and whose are His when He marks His children with His indwelling Spirit (Eph 1:13-14) and gives His children spiritual gifting (Ro 12:6).

Scripture reveals that the real God is the God of eternity (Ex 3:14). He has no beginning or end. The real God is the God of creation who reveals His invisible qualities through what has been made (Ro 1:20; Ps 19:1-4). The real God is the God of the Word (John 1:1-4). There is no other written authority apart from the Holy Bible that informs mankind of who the real God is. The real God is three in one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Luke 3:21-22; Col 1:15;` John 14:9-11). The real God became flesh and blood in the Son and dwelt on earth at a certain point in history (John 1:14) The real God is alive. He sees, hears, speaks and moves. The real God is Spirit who indwells every believer (John 4:24; Eph 1:13-14). The real God is the only true satisfaction for the human soul (Ps 145:16). The real God delivers on His every promise through Christ (2 Cor 1:20). The real God is good and has no ulterior motives (Jas 1:17; 1 John 1:5). The real God is the only salvation for mankind, which He accomplishes through the atoning sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ. (John 3:16; Ro 3:22-25).

The bible reveals striking truth about the real world. According to scripture, the real world is God’s perfect creation (Gen 1) that is now broken by sin (Gen 3, Ro 5:12-14) and proceeds in a state of frustration (Ro 8:20) as a result. The real world is decaying and groaning for the restoration promised when Jesus Christ returns (Ro 8:8:21-22). The real world is Satan’s realm in which God has allowed him to exist and act temporarily (John 12:31, 16:1; Eph 2:2; 1 John 4:4, 5:19) The real world is blinded to God’s truth about itself (2 Cor 4:4) and unsatisfying to the human soul (Ecc 2:11; Haggai 1:5-6; John 4:13-14, Pro 27:20). The real world is temporary and will one day pass away and be replaced by a new heaven and a new earth (Heb 1:10-12; Rev 21:1). And since a Christian’s true citizenship is in heaven, the real world is a foreign country and thus should be experienced as such by those who are children of God (Phil 3:20; John 15:18-19).
